Right by the beach
The Apex Beachside Holiday Park is centrally located on the North West coast of Tasmania in a private beachside setting in the township of Ulverstone. A short 20 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal, Ulverstone is the perfect base to commence a tour of Tasmania including some of the state’s popular attractions Cradle Mountain, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves and the Tarkine Coast.
The park has frontage and direct access to two beaches as well as the coastal pathway which passes immediately by the Parks main entry. The park is also home to a colony of little penguins, who return from a day at sea to their burrows in the foreshore reserve immediately adjacent to the campsites.
Please Note: We take the care of our little neighbours very seriously and have a strict no pets policy, and ask visitors to avoid approaching or disturbing the penguins and follow the viewing guidelines provided.

The park currently comprises 91 sites with power and water supply and access to modern amenities and camp kitchen facilities. In addition there are 3 ensuite sites available with recently refurbished private bathroom facilities.

The Park is operated by the Apex Club of Ulverstone with all profits directed into the Club’s local, national and international service projects.
The Club is proud of recent developments undertaken to modernise the park, including new and upgraded amenities buildings, new power and water infrastructure, roadways, beach access walkways, children’s playground and wifi services provided free to guests. The Club will soon commence construction of a variety of holiday cabins which will be dedicated to and provide financial support to local charitable organisations.
